I run Windows XP Home SP2 and have cleaned and defragmented and compressed and removed etc etc. I have the latest Norton Anti Virus and a recent version of Norton Internet Security enabled. My computer is still too sluggish. Is Running Processes the same thing as what Loads at Startup? I've manually removed from Startup the few programs i could identify but there is 70 processes running and lord only knows how many things that load at startup. How can i tidy up this mess? i cannot figure out how to tell what other files/services/programs/??? are connected with each listed process.

According to the read me file it states:

You will need to EMULATE it using DEAMON TOOLS or any other
emulator compatible with the ISO format. If you use DEAMON TOOLS
it's just open the AG2.ISO file with it and it will auto run.

**** ALTHOUGHT WINRAR CAN OPEN AG2.ISO FILE, YOU MUST EMULATE
OR BURN IT, IF YOU UNCOMPRESS THE .ISO FILE WITH WINRAR THE
INSTALL WILL NOT WORK.


I have downloaded deamon tool along with many other emulating programs many times and it still wouldn't play.

it keeps wanting to go through winrar, however the other ones won't even load it.

If you can please tell me a program that might or what I'm doing wrong I'd appreciate it.

I saved pictures into My pictures, now I want to put them on a site but they are not JPG, how do I change them over. Ive tried save as, but it does not give me the option to change it.

I also dont want to download " weird stuff"into my computer.
I know there has to be a simple way.

Ok people, I went to the Microsoft web site, went through the procedures on how to play a CD for my PowerPoint presentation.
I put in the Music CD I want to use, and it tells me that the audio data is not .wav audio and something about configuration. How do I convert this...what doI do?

Right now i have both Linux and Windows.
I want to switch to Linux completely.
Which Linux version will be best (Redhat, SuSE, or other)? I want to do all my work in Linux
including watching movies, writing DVD's, Internet, etc.

How would you describe a PC to someone 150 years ago?

windows 98 system bought second hand and compusa does not support the CPCHS series clones anymore and I have tried many online search engines without luck. Onboard video and sound, pci ess28985 modem, d-link dfe530tx nic, I can possibly find the modem and nic drivers but the onboard video & sound are unlikely. Help!
