This is because the either the memory must be faulty or may be it is very small try upgrading it to 512MB Ram

This is an error message from a program running on your computer. The 281 merely says where in the computer program it ran out of memory. All this means is that there is a bug in this program which is causing it to run out of memory. If you can figure out which program it is you can probably reinstall it or simply switch it off if it turns out to be an unwanted piece of software.

Don't quote me, but try updating your PCs firewall/anti-virus.

Just a guess as I had the same problem, it worked for me but I had to do it a lot.

I got a new defence in the end.

to fix it go in this order... click start,,settings,,control panel, system, advance tab, performance settings, advance tab,at bottom it says virtual memory, click on change,,set it to 560, click apply, then ok i suggest that you go to filehippo.com and download ccleaner. this will clean up alot of junk you don't need anymore be sure to check box for hotfix uninstallers..then after you run it, do scan for issues and fix all it finds.this is your registry..keep your PC defragged every day..this will speed things up alot for you.
