Right now i have both Linux and Windows.
I want to switch to Linux completely.
Which Linux version will be best (Redhat, SuSE, or other)? I want to do all my work in Linux
including watching movies, writing DVD's, Internet, etc.
I do not mind spending few bugs (few means really few) for getting new Linux.

There are so many different Linux distributions precisely because nobody agrees on what is "best" - because not everybody has the same goals. Some people like the way Fedora Core and RedHat do things, other people prefer the Suse way of running a system - and then there's about 47 zillion things based on Knoppix, which is a boot-from-CD variant Then there's the Ubuntu crowd and *their* goals. Gentoo still has users because there are users who want what Gentoo offers, and so on.

I really can't suggest anything better than just going over to www.distrowatch.com and read the blurbs and see which one matches what *you* want to do.

I work in the industry (windows network admin) I prefer to use Linux when I can. For a straight out friendly desktop system I keep coming back to Mandriva. Failing that try Kubuntu.

solidarity likely will run slow on your gadget. gnome 2x is fairly properly lifeless, and gnome 3 is likewise extremely graphical extreme. Xfce has an excellent form of similarities to gnome 2x, even with the undeniable fact that it remains maintained or maybe swifter. supply Xubuntu eleven.10 a shot.
