I have downloaded many files of .torrent. But none of them start its download process in programmes like utorrent. Bitcomet or Orbit Downloader. Download Manager or Flashget. It shows how many peers are avaialble but never connected to anyone of them. Can anybody clarify me how to start download after you have got .torrent mini files in your list of downloads. Its about two months and none of my files started to download a single KB. Please answer me in detail. I am new in this torrent kind of thing. By the way I am using Wireless Local Area Network Satellite Internet Connection. Is it something not permissible in this connection or what? Does type of connection affect downloading a torrent. Other simple downloads are very fast i.e above 100kb/sec

I especially want to buy my groceries online and things like supplies for my printer and computer accessories. I have no credit or credit cards, and they will not give me one, as I am retired and on low income. I have no debts and have lived in my council flat over twenty years. I am having never-ending problems with my internet service after switching to a different internet provider. Last time it was a problem on their end and it took 4 days for them to fix it because they only rent the network and have no direct control over the technicians.

This time it is a more intermittent problems, for some reason the DSL light either goes out or starts flashing, and I can't load any web pages. However the computer doesn't show any actual loss of connection.

Any ideas?

i personally prefer firefox for browsing, bust since two days, when iam trying to open firefox, firefox automatically closes with a beep,and i am getting a small pop-up with the heading"use internet explorer u dope", message in it will be "i dont hate mozilla,but use IE or else......." . this is the message i see on that popup.

can anybody help me out? i have avg internet security installed, have updated it, scanned system many times,but no use. plz help me . when i use internet explorer, i dont have any problem. thank u.

How do I use two Internet connections on one computer. I have set up AOL to try out on my computer but it has an always on internet connection from my previous providere and I can't turn it off without giving up there service. But I still wish to use AOL's trial. What can I do?

Well..I think something happen to my mozilla
first, i install i tunes along with quick time in it..then, after i discover that the quick time has something wrong in it,i uninstall it..
after that,my mozilla start acting wierd...
it cant open any video type,such as youtube,and any kind of advertisements containing animation..
instead,it appears as a quick time logo with a question mark
and when i try to right click it,it doesnt react to the click..
but somehow,..internet explorer isnt affected..
and one more thing.. everytime i updated my firefox, it says that it needs to find updates for java console..and when i click check update,it says that it cant find the update now..
i dun know what happened,but it sucks..

I bought something from ebay, and it wasn't what I expected. The seller said he would return it to me after I left him + feedback since the item was as described, arrived in a timely manner, etc. So I did that and he sent me a return # which I'm supposed to write on or in the box, and then send the item back to him, and when he gets it he'll refund my $$. Does this sound legit? How am I to know he's going to refund my money? Should I just keep all of the emails I've received from him through ebay and get a tracking # on the package so I have proof I sent it? Thanks!

I have adobe 8 on my new laptop. I have many important documents saved as PDF files....which I have always been able to open through adobe. Now, I cant get anything to open through adobe...it looks as though its working and then nothing will load. And today, I finally got one of my documents to load and it came up as a bunch of scattered letter and symbols. I cant even get adobe to open. If anyone knows what this means or how to fix it...please help !! :) Thanks
