Right now I am using a peer to peer interface to surf the web...I have windows xp internet explorer 7. It (internet explorer) just stopped working like a few days ago. I was getting online fine and now all of a sudden it isn't working. I don't have a router or anything just a wireless signal.

all my browsers have been acting weird lately,i click something an it most of the time opens in new tabs. sometimes it doesn't. this is soo annoying. i checked the settings of my browsers. anyone know what my problem may be? ohh yeah i even restored my computer.

It will work for a couple of minutes and then it will lose the internet connection. It might find the internet and and it might not. ?Does this sound like my modem or my cable provider.

I had an add off myspace
to sell my keyboard

she is sending me a check for 2,450
cash it and take 200$ of it out
then go to western union
and send the rest with the keyboard
to the address she is giving me
in the email, and take the shipping
out of her remaining balance

I know noone is going to cash a check
for that much unless its in a bank account
so can this hurt me at all
or what will this do.

how can i be sure if this is a scam
or what can i do to keep this safe

I see some place to provide Fire fox system, but I don't what is it?
And, I don't know how to use it? Is it worth to be used.

I'm with Mediacom internet, and the box that's connected to my internet has been going out all day. I don't know what's making it do it but it's really getting on my nerves. I'm on broadband with them, and lately it went out 6 times in the last 5 minutes. Can someone please tell me what's going on?

how can I hook my phone to my internet without using special adapters. just phone into modem and call. Any services work like this? Ive looked at a couple IPPhones and they say that I need a "special adapter" soley for their service, I dont want that wait for their adapters.

I have verizon phone and their internet. The phone and internet runs threw the phone line and there is a signal seperator provided by verizon. The phone clicks about 7 times when I pick it off the reciever and dies. I think the power to the phone line is screwy. anyways the internet still works. I need to get a phone on. Is there a way to plug the phone into the modem on the PC and make calls threw the internet. Without having to buy any special adapters. just phone--modem--PC --ethranet cable---Router-- phone line.

Why all of a sudden Windows Media Player 11 does not work on myspace in Mozilla FireFox, but in IE (Internet Explorer 7) ? Few mths ago it did... but I think ever since I upgraded to WMP 11 its not working in Firefox. Why is this so ?

I'm making a website for a client who runs a small charity. The site requires very little space, has only one page (I use Ajax to update the body), and won't use very much bandwith. I also need to purchase the domain, and web based e-mail is a plus. The only other add-ons that would be nice are PHP and MySQL support, though they aren't necessary and most hosts support them anyway. I've heard great things about Dreamhost, but even the lowest plan ($7.95 a month) is overkill for this project. Any suggestions?
