It will work for a couple of minutes and then it will lose the internet connection. It might find the internet and and it might not. ?Does this sound like my modem or my cable provider.

Most likely this is a wireless issue. There is most likely interference or you are trying to access it too far away. Try one or more of the following:
turn up the power in the settings (refer to manual)
change the channel to 11 or 1 (refer to manual)
get closer to the wireless point

If its near any large electronic devices i.e. microwaves, refrigerators, etc move it, those will interfere with it. Also if its near large ammounts of metal or concrete.

Since you didn't mention the type of wireless modem you are using, it sounds like a problem with your internet provider. Check their system first and then reset your modem.

we ended buying some super long ethernet wire which we didnt even use after all cause it got an update that i guesss gave it stronger signal strength..........

as far as what is causing the problem i really wouldnt know........i would have to say it depends on the modem or like the first poster said there could be many things interfering with it!!!

I HOPE I HELPED YOU EVEN..... JUST A little BIT
