how can I hook my phone to my internet without using special adapters. just phone into modem and call. Any services work like this? Ive looked at a couple IPPhones and they say that I need a "special adapter" soley for their service, I dont want that wait for their adapters.

why do all that just download a free internet phone system called skype...pretty cool....chek it out

you cant...you have to have a plug in...
