I have verizon phone and their internet. The phone and internet runs threw the phone line and there is a signal seperator provided by verizon. The phone clicks about 7 times when I pick it off the reciever and dies. I think the power to the phone line is screwy. anyways the internet still works. I need to get a phone on. Is there a way to plug the phone into the modem on the PC and make calls threw the internet. Without having to buy any special adapters. just phone--modem--PC --ethranet cable---Router-- phone line.

Hello ptcruisher2001,

Yes, they call that tethering. It's where you're using the cell phone as a modem to attach your computer to the Internet. It's actually faster than dial-up.

If your cell phone and PC both have bluetooth capability, you are in like Flynn. If your cell phone has bluethooth but your PC doesn't, you can buy a USB Bluetooth adapter (dongle) for about $30, plug it in and it will be able to communicate together.

Best of luck to you.
