Internet - December 2006

I thought I was signing up for Apples iTunes, but it ended up being a website that said the following:

"iTunes is the easiest way to organize, share and listen to music on your computer. Find new favorites. Manage your growing library. Enjoy iTunes, the best friend an iPod will ever have! Store all your songs in iTunes. Download music from the store in high-quality AAC format or MP3 for playback in iTunes or iPod. It was suppose to be a membership that cost $35.00 for three years, and when I get my bill they have charged me an additional $15 for something called XP Tools. It said that I have 7 days money back if I am not satisfied. However, there is no way to get in contact with the company. They have a "Support" button, but when you click on it says "not active." I was charged by a company called MYWEBCS.com. Can anyone help? Or just be aware!

per news reports read on the web 2 days ago reported that cable based communications were disrupted and were 50% down caused by the earthquake in Taiwan. Is the disruption affected telephone companies providing internet service or is it yahoo our means of sending and receiving messages is also affected?

well for one, is it worth it, any problems.

it has started 3 days ago. i have a yahoo messenger and someone suddenly imed me.
he has more than 100 ID's and kept iming me. i had like hundreds im's at once and my puter froze.
i was in the middle of the game! (spades)
i know some ppl have this sort of booting system but how could i possibly fight back in this situation?
it happend yesterday and today too.
i think i have been targeted.
i don't wanna change my screen name. it's impossible since i have a lot of friends with this name and i don't wanna lose my ratings for all the games.
i have some enenies both in school and online so he might be one of them.

friend, but i don't want it public. only certain people to view it. You know almost like one of those cites that you have to pay to see stuff on it. I know it sounds perverted, but its not. But in that kind of ball park. Any help or advice, or do we have to go to a pro to set it up. are ANY of them reputable? They all seem to come from the same guy.They all cost $47.00-97.00. Has anybody tried one that actually works? Do I just make money by charging 47.00 to a bunch of other people like me who want to make money? Who knows the real deal on this stuff?
