On your IE, go to Tools -> Internet Options
then go to Advance tab, on Multimedia uncheck "show pictures"

Right click on IE – Choose Properties – Then choose the Advance tab – Under the setting scroll down until you reach the Multimedia option, uncheck Show Picture option for faster browsing.

That sucks about the slow speeds, I heard it has something to do with earthquakes.

uncheck show pictures hit on apply and ok . you may want to use firefox for now while net is slow in asia .
