I thought I was signing up for Apples iTunes, but it ended up being a website that said the following:

It was suppose to be a membership that cost $35.00 for three years, and when I get my bill they have charged me an additional $15 for something called XP Tools. It said that I have 7 days money back if I am not satisfied. However, there is no way to get in contact with the company. They have a "Support" button, but when you click on it says "not active." I was charged by a company called MYWEBCS.com. Can anyone help? Or just be aware!

WE were taken on Christmas day. We were directed to utunes when we did a itune search so be careful. Does any federal agency follow up these scams. I'm sure it doesn't hurt Apple. But it is very misleading. It also ask for 4 days to respond to emails due to holiday demand. If anyone has any success please post.

We did receive an email back from their customer support who gave us options to change services provided however they did offer to close account and apply refund less a 14.95 handling charge as long as a request was made within a 7 day evaluation period. We'll see how that goes the site now a phone as well #865-974-9900. Good luck and happy new year!

Obviously it was a scam, but to be honest, you signed up for it. You should have researched the website more. Don't take things at face value, a lot of companies make money by ripping off legitimate websites like iTunes.

Yes, Just yesterday 12-29-2006 I thought I was getting iTunes and I to now cannot contact anyone for a refund.I was billed 68.77 $ USD. If anyone can help please reply.

Yes, that happened to us also. We tried to stop pay thru our bank and it wouldn't accept the stop pay. Does anyone have a remedy or suggestions on a way to recover our $$?
