You need to scan your computer for virus' and spyware. Sounds like you have a virus. Or do a full system recovery and restore the computer back to factory settings.

Well seems you are having Virus in ur system. Try out with any antivirus . Check if u can see the Internet option that is go through “click tools in your home page and go to internet option and then click general ,if the address part is not highlighted or not allowing you to change its virus” what best according to me is just make another account in ur system and give admin right to the user, and copy all required data from the account and past it to the new created account” Try out i think it will work..bye

is the grenral tab where you set the homepage still there ? if not go to this site download the reg fil and run it ... http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/iegentabs.reg
this will put the genral tab back....

if the tab is there and the home page has been set to a specific site and locked then do this
click start run and type in regedit then press enter
go to this string HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Policies\Microsoft\ Internet Explorer\ Control Panel\ Homepage once here rigth click on the word hompage and select modify...change the value data to 0 click ok...this will unlock the hompage..... remember 0 to open hompage and 1 to lock it...
