Hi guys,
I know this sounds a bit dumb, but I received this email telling me that I am some sort of winner for some lottery I don't recall. And now they want details to proove my identity. What do I do? Does it sound genuine? They have a phone number too.
Here is an exctract from the email:

Maybe I'm missing something, but do advertisers, including the biggy Google, really believe that by exposing people to unwanted ads in the form of pop-ups, re-directed pages, virusus that change your computers home page to theirs without your knowledge, really going to inspire people to buy their products? Do they figure that they can annoy people into buying their products, and are there really people out there that are that stupid? I wouldn't buy anything from these people if their products were the last of their kind on earth.

before, when I'd close my IE window it'd ask "open these tabs next time?" but now I don't have that option, the window just closes.. how do I restore it? thanks

i have 6 search windows and i don't need that many, just would like to keep the yahoo and google ones. how do u do that? i was wondering also if a lot of windows would make the computer run slow. i've tried uninstalling rarely used programs but it doesn't seem to help. also i don't see these programs in there. thanks;)

When I save a website into Favorites, I like to make Folders and move items around to organize. I can't figure out how to move a favorited item into a folder. I know about holding the left mouse button, as in the old Explorer, but IE7 won't let me move anything to a new folder.

Problem :
Hotmail get accessed from net cafe but not from home. I have broadband(airtel) as well as dial up connection(tata indicom). I tried to open hotmail with broadband connection but it failed. With dial up connection i can access the hotmail. Now wht da heck is going on here??? please help. I have tried everything, nothing is working out. Is that a problem with ISP.
