before, when I'd close my IE window it'd ask "open these tabs next time?" but now I don't have that option, the window just closes.. how do I restore it? thanks

go to tools>>internee options>>advanced>>restore default

Begin by first clicking on the Start Button.
Then click on Run Icon, which will open up the Run Menu for you.
Locate the white area of the screen next to the word Open: in the Run Menu.
Now type sfc /scannow into the white input area and click on the OK button.
The System File Checker program will launch and scan for files that are no longer intact.
Windows XP may ask you to Insert your Windows XP CD Rom, so please have it available.
A progress indicator bar will display and the program will exit on its own when finished.
It would probably be best to reboot your computer after the program finishes.
