No. Unless the file is an exe, or the website has a lot of ads and pop-ups.
Just download using torrents and you'll be fine.
Some things you might need:
a client: http://www.utorrent.com
somewhere to get the torrents: http://www.thepiratebay.org
There are many other websites, the best ones are private, but they're easy to find.

But sometimes it has virus. So you have to check it with virus vaccine.
Use a trustful warez website and check it with virus vaccine.
(However warez website is illegal.)
