Internet - October 2006

I haven't done it, because I believe that I will just get inundated with emails from disgruntled people, or get hate mail, or whatever. So, those of you who get email from this forum, please tell me what your experience has been, and if you think its worthwhile to receive emails from just random strangers.

This all started last night.. All of a sudden my computer started to receive many annoying pop ups that doesn't really go away. The one that bothers me the most is one that comes up as www.ad-w-a-r-e.com.... I'm not sure how this started because my computer was working pretty fine. How can I stop this from happening??? Please Help! Thanks!

I have not yet downloaded it and I still have a couple of questions for clarification, just to be safe. Does it cost anything to download? How long does it take for dialup? And does it help slow internet get faster? Thanks for input.
