Netscape does not follow the w3 standard consistently from version to version. From what I've seen of IE7, it doesn't either. Of course Safari is about a mile OFF BASE.
If we can't live by standards, then the internet simply can't work. An open system is the only way for providers to compete on a level playing field.
Good luck

Mozilla is my personal favorite. I have nothing against Opera or Netscape, I just prefer Mozilla Firefox because its open source software. Anyone can develop an extension or a theme, which contributes to the many many add-ons possible to Firefox. Now IE is just evil... Security has seen better days... And overall look can be improved on... IE7 is worse in my opinion, stick with Firefox or Opera or Netscape.
One note though, Firefox has been known to crash fairly often compared to other browsers, so its probably a good idea to get a session saver extension. Also, its evil in memory usage and start-up time... Still, I prefer Firefox over the rest...

Modzilla is a IE replica w/o many of the whistles, bells and blings.
Netscape was originally a junk written browser then a 13 yr old hacked it back around 1996 and rewrote the code. Pretty much same code they are using today. Who wants to use a 13 yr olds coding? Few...cause netscape is used by less than 11% of those on the web and most of that % is from apple.
IE is the old simple browser to use but you have to keep up on the updates, etc. It does work best with all coding as it is the original that went with the coding that was created. Kinda like that old saying.....if it ain't broke...don't fix it. Well its not broke but others made replicas that make coding a real effort at times.
Linux is actually the best as it is based on IE's coding yet it has been tweaked by over 1 million web programmers to be the best of the best. It works with all that is out there and all coding flows through it w/o effort.
Just know that if you use Netscape, you are missing out on about 20% of each web sites contents, moving images, and sounds due to the lack of coding it can handle.

Firefox is by far the best. It has many more capabilities, especially with the new 2.0 version. My favorite new capability they just added was a built in spell check no matter where you type on the net. I don't know that I dislike Netscape but I definitely like Firefox.

I use IE7, FF2, Netscrape8, and Opera.
I actually like IE7 best.
Most of the argument over which is best is personal opinion, not FACT.
I don't like what they did with Netscrape 8 making the cookies sync with IE.
If I am on a site with Netscrape & the same site with IE, I click refresh and poof, I am logged in as the other user. Very poorly thought out.

Firefox easily, it used to be slow, but now it is very fast. It has tabs which is amazing. You can set a master password which saves all your passwords and put them in for you. Easy to delete cookies and history. I have never gotten a viruse. Very customizable, with themes and extension. I can go on and on. Download manager rocks, stop and restart download whenever. I hope this helps. If you want more info just ask.

my friend subhas,
you asked a very difficult question. actually i have a very simple browser i.e. internet explorer in my p.c. but my friend, the latest version of iternet explorer i.e. internet explorer7perfectly suits your requirements. but experts says that mozzila is the best one in terms of quality and security. you should try both and then choose the perfect one.
have a nice day

Opera because it is just so darn fast and what other browser can one give verbal commands too? Plus its secure.
Netscape used a bit too much system resources last time I tryed it.

I have used IE, Mozilla and Opera. Opera is clearly the best. If you have not used it yet then i recommend that you do.
