The usual work-a-round for this is to hold the shift key as you click on a link (sometimes it's the ctrl key)

There are many options:

- You could (and probably should) go in your popup blocker program and create an exception for the specific site.

- You could also simply disable the popup blocker while you go to sites you want to allow popups. This is not as safe, be careful.

- All popup blockers have a bypass key which is usually either SHIFT, CTRL or both and holding it until you've clicked on the link that will popup.

On Internet Explorer you click "tools" then "internet options" select the "privacy tab", "settings" enter the address of the site and add it you your safe list.
