Internet - September 2006

My wife and I use seperate computers. We connect to the Internet via an ethernet router. Our ISP is TalkTalk. Today we have been experiencing problems where some sites will load and their varying links work. Other sites will not load at all. Yet, other sites load the front page and we cannot get any further. Our ISP says its our router. They offerred no other help than that. I feel that it is the ISP where the problem lies. Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be going on.

I just got an hp pavillion notebook 5000 series. Im using internet explorer, and all the settings are set up the same as my desktop. Whenever im on a page, and I click a link on that page, if I close it, it errors and all the screens close. What could be causing this?

I don't use facebook, that often, but yesterday I went on and everything was just weird. I don't want to know every little thing a friend does or posts.

I think it wrong to show everything like, that, what group you joined, what you posted etc etc. Some of my friends are adding new friends and I don't even know then, so why should I see that they have been added does anyone else feel this way.

That the new face book, is wrong and "stalker like"?

I try to go to the next page of messages and get a blank page with just Yahoo! E-Mail at the top and a blank box. The same with pressing . I have to press to get out of the hang-up. Sometimes this works, and sometimes not in trying to get to the page I want.

I've heard from someone that there was a express versin called like mobile fox or portable fox or something and im not sure. I use the opera and i have firefox but just doesn't seem to want to work even when i redownload it. neither will internt explorer. but there are certain things on firefox that you can do that you can't do on opera. So im hoping that there really is and express version of firefox.

I don't know the name but it copies my ISP dialup and will autodial and send my to a teen porn site. I've run software to try to get rid of it with no luck. I think I found the file but cannot access or delete same. I'm not one with deep pockets so any help will be appreciated.
