What are some sites that help you with your resume? Are there any that go into a lot of detail?

I don't know any websites but I do have tips I actually got from one of my teachers a while back.
-If you use Word or even Works there are Resume Templetes (work amazing)
Anyway some tips:
- When typing your phone number, use periods. New thing they just started doing...so instead of (123) 456-7890 you should do - 123.456.7890
- List an objective, school information, work experience, any awards you have received, any activies you have done, and references.
- Put references available by request.
- Make your resume stand out - but dont make it look like someone in high school had fun with all colors and different fonts. Make sure it looks professional.
- Keep it between 1-2 pages, anything longer they dont read. Best if it is 1.
- Make sure the margins and spacing is all the same. Also the font should be all the same. Except for size: make sure that your name stands out - Larger than other text.
- Have someone read it over for you, they will catch mistakes your brain wont pick up.

I would suggest you take some professional help (for FREE) from MS word which has inbuilt resume templates for making your resume.
You can also follow the step-by-step instruction to make your free resume, using the resume builder provided with MS office.
