What can I do to avoid getting a blank page when hitting <next> or <previous>?

I try to go to the next page of messages and get a blank page with just Yahoo! E-Mail at the top and a blank box. The same with pressing . I have to press to get out of the hang-up. Sometimes this works, and sometimes not in trying to get to the page I want.
