have windows 2000 and was told to download microsoft power point, did that and still can't open any pps attachments! do I have to save attachment to microsoft pp or what do I do? help

I have 2 different yahoo email address. I downloaded yahoo messenger. I can chat fine with the one ID, but not the other. I do understand that you can only logged into yahoo under one ID at a time, but is there a way to chat using the second ID. If you answer please use simple terms, I am no computer expert. Thanks in advance.

recently using limewire,my system got infected with some virus and a system file was corrupted,due to which i had to reinstall my window..and actually "degraded" from win.xp to win.98, i need advice about how to know beforehand that a particular file is risky to be downloaded and may contain virus?
i have mc.affe antivirus installed..i am weary of downloading things now on net. plz suggest some measure to detect and prevent viruses...does having a download accelarator help in preventing a file from getting corrupted? kindly help..as i have no prior formal training in computer and internet...

I have a number of photo albums and would like people to see the one I added today but I keep trying to share it on my page but the page always shows the old albums. I tried to delete an album to make room but that didn't work. What is a poor user to do?

ok i installed the newer version of yahoo and it said my internet connection isnt active so i installed the alternate version and it didnt work so then i unistalled it and now i tried to reinstall it and it says the same dang thing and well my computers connected i know it is i have cable internet can someone please help me
