You should go to Start/find files or folder (incase you use windiows 98)
You should go to Start/search (in case you are using XP)
Else, you should click on "save" instead of "open" button. When downloading, when you click on the link, the box opens and you should probably click on the "save" button. Thus, the file will be downloaded. then scan for viruses. You can play it.

You need to designate where the files are to go to...go to tools in the program you use and choose a file there and it will download to that file all the time

If you use LimeWire, make sure you put it in My Music folder, that's what I always do put my music and videos.
Example:
C:\Documents and Settings\***Your Name***\My Documents\My Music
