Firefox is better in terms of
- Security (it's written using coding that's less easy for hackers/bugs/viruses to rewrite than the coding used for IE)
- Managing your bookmarks (you can rearrange them into any order you want, and it'll copy all the ones you already have saved in IE)
- Tabbed browsing (you can open lots of websites, each in different tabs but in just one 'window', rather than opening zillions of copies of IE and slowing your computer down as you do so)
- Downloads (you can pause half-way through and then return to download the rest of a file later if for some reason you need to).
However, there are some features on a few webpages that Firefox can't view (unless you download all kinds of extras).
You can't delete Internet Explorer from your computer, so you'd still have it there as a backup for pages Firefox couldn't cope with, but by switching to Firefox you'd be protecting yourself against all kinds of bugs and hijackers.
I switched to Firefox a couple of years ago and much prefer it.

Hey,
I used to use Firefox, but I found that some websites do not work correctly on it. It has some advantages, such as tabed browsing, but the new Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE 7.0 Beta) also has tabs.
Some people say Firefox is more secure, however Internet Explorer is just as secure if you don't click on any dodgy links, and have a firewall+anti-virus program installed.
I would recommend you stick with IE for now personally, but other people may feel Firefox is better.

Mozilla Firefox is by far better than Internet Explorer, Simply because Mozilla Firefox contains much better securitty features such as Block Up Poppers.
And
Yes you can get Internet Explorer (IE) back very simply, either from The OFFICIAL site or Windows website.

Firefox is by far the best browser available. I have tried every mainstream browser out there and Firefox is simply superb.
And you can use it and Explorer at the same time if you want, although I can pretty much guarantee that you won't ever go back to IE.
So don't worry - it isn't a case of one or the other.

I have Firefox at home and IE at work. I would advise you to download and try Firefox but keep IE on your PC which is how my personal computer is set up. Even if you decide you prefer Firefox keep IE as some websites have features which will only function in IE and this also allows for maximum mind changing! (I'm a woman too!)

The new IE7 beta 3 is excellent, Microsoft have 'borrowed' a lot of the ideas which made Firefox so good but its still the same rock solid Explorer.
If you go to the microsoft downloads area its a freebie - about 25mB so you need to be on broadband.

Firefox: for % and protection and proper constructive factors and upload ons. surprising browser ever and ease itself to apply. IE: is too slow and cumbersome and makes use of a range of of reminiscence and cpu. Chrome is quickly, yet constrained in certain parts, like copying and pasting one part of a internet website, and also elementary textual content in basic terms on Microsoft Message forums.

Firefox is better. You can uninstall it anytime you need.
And even without uninstalling you can use Internet Explorer also.
And finally, what do you mean by telling that you are a woman?

Mozilla firefox is good... you run it along-side internet explorer.. you choose which one you want to use...both stay in-situ...
you can change themes to anything you like with mozilla, the add-ons are great.. try to avoid internet exlorer 7..for now.. as alot of people are having problems with it.. it clashes with service pack2....
