As IE comes up the banner will be brown instead of blue, as though it is an inactive window. The icon on the toolbar which is usually gray, will flash blue. If I click on the banner fast enough, I can save it but if not the whole thing is dead and I have to reboot. Is this hardware or software? Any ideas?

Does anyone know a site that will let me generate a high-resolution street map of any area. Mpaquest, Yahoo, and Google just don't let me produce large enough images.

im wondering cause i have microsoft Internet explorer...i have DSL though and the pages do go fast but...lately the pages have been freezing and it tells me if i want to send those stupid error reports...its been doing it alot...whats the difference between mozzila and microsoft browsers

I want to be able to create playlists that play the mp3's I choose. Possibly allow the user to choose the song to play in the list. I don't want the ability to share the mp3 though. What software is available?

My son has gone to extreme lengths to gain access to internet games. Not the bloody, gorey, stuff. Just strategy games. My husband and I are computer geeks, so our son doesn't get away with anything for long, but he has become quite creative. Let's just say that when he was 13, he hacked our computer. Broke in through start up and wiped out the login password in the bios. We didn't even know he knew how to get there. He had been online for two days and was on the top 20 high score 13 times. He's a genius...but he's making me nuts. We have refocused his computer energy to other things...but keeps going back for the games.
