I just refilled an ink cartridge, but it turns out I don't need it yet. What's the best way to store it to prevent the ink from drying?

Photo quality printing is key. Not too concerned about the print quality -- mostly just printing out articles for reading and want to save paper by printing double sided.

My printer has been very good for the past year! But the last couple of weeks all my pictures have got a very slight green hue. I do not use Canon ink because of the price. I have always used Compatible Cartridges from a reputable company without any problems. Could i have a faulty print head ? I have done all the printer Maintenance checks to no avail. Anyone got any surgestions, i would be very grateful.

I have a Dell 720 and a Dell 540 (4x6 inch photo printer). When the 720 is installed it works fine... but when I added the 540, the 540 worked, but the 720 lost communication with the computer. The only way I can get the 720 working again is to uninstall the 540! Anybodie have any ideas why??
The 720 is set as default. So when I want to print a photo I choose the 540 in a drop menu. Also both printers are online and ready, plus I already tried disabling the 540 temporarly to see if the 720 would work, and it didn't. Both printers are usb.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It can be inkjet or laser, Price around 3000-5000 INR .Recurring cost for refills should be minimum and the item should be durable and perfect for rough use

I have two prniters, DELL and EPSON, basic all around color printers for printing everyday stuff and sometimes photos. Is there any difference in using non-original ink cartridges i.e not buying from OEM DELL or EPSON and replace them with remanufactured, or recyled, or non-oem cartridges. What about Ink Refilling? Have anyone tired it? Were there any quality or other issues? Does it screw up your printer? What websites you found to be relaible and good value for for quality NON-OEM ink?
