Any tips for paper, ink saving, economy and good results? I just bought one yesterday.

As far as paper goes, use Canon photo paper if you are serious about printing photos. The reality is that you have to use your printer's brand of photo paper to get the best results. Use the sample pack that came with the printer (hopefully there was one) to determine which type of their paper you like best.

Always print in draft mode unless it's a photo or important document. Printing websites wastes a lot of color ink, so make sure to do it in draft, or if you really want to save, print them in grayscale mode.

Other than that, you shouldn't have to tweak anything else to get the best results.

Canon is a very good printer overall. Ink is quite low on usage and it is not the most expensive ink on the market. You didn't make a mistake!!!
