Can anyone suggest where I could purchase labels or inserts for the cd case as printing them from my pc is quite expensive due to the ink.

Firstly, there is no reason for it to be so expensive for you to print your own. What you need is a place to buy ink cartridges at a reasonable price. My Epson printer cartridges cost about $54 a pair from Epson or at Staples. I buy my black & color cartridges online for less than $3.50 for the pair. I've been using them for years and have never had any problems whatsoever. Give it a try. Check out this website, select your brand and model of printer and be amazed at the prices. They offer cartridges for almost any printer that is out there.

Label and inserts already printed would cost you a fortune. you could get blank labels to write on and stick it on your cd cases but they do not look very attractive. You can buy the proper inserts for the cd cases from any good computer shop but they are blank and you still need to print on them
