What is the best way to store an ink cartridge?

I just refilled an ink cartridge, but it turns out I don't need it yet. What's the best way to store it to prevent the ink from drying?

room temperature..and put the little sticker back over the print heads.. keeps it from drying out

put it in the veggie tray of the fridge
