Photo quality printing is key. Not too concerned about the print quality -- mostly just printing out articles for reading and want to save paper by printing double sided.

I recommend Canon... PERIOD. Here are the reasons why.

1. Cost of Ink
2. Reliability
3. Quality of the color
4. You can resume printing Even in the middle of a printout when you change cartridges. Yes, even in the middle of a photo. It's awesome.

But use a high quality double sided brochure document paper like STAPLES item #610487

You it in this manner.

Open your document
Go to the FILE menu and hit PRINT
Select ODD only then OK
Let the odd side print out completely

Wait for the first side INK to dry

Flip the paper over and into the paper try
Go to the FILE menu and hit PRINT
Select the EVEN only then OK
Let the even side print out completely.

You are fooling yourself if you think that you are saving anything. Regular paper in economy mode for Read and Throw away would would just fine. But regular paper does not do well for double sided as the ink BLEEDS through. A fine quality double sided document paper is quite expensive, but does look GREAT.

Good luck
