i'm trying to buy a new laptop and i'm not really sure what i'm looking for. do i want windows vista? i've heard it's not so great and not really compatible with some programs. all i'm really using this thing for is the internet, playing music, burning cds and watching movies. should i get vista or xp and what other aspects are important?

I use DAP but often show this error : "You have been disconnected from download site. Please check your internet connection and try again
Message Number: 21;10022"
When I'm connected to internet correctly !
How can I solve it ?
or PLZ tell me about a better Download Software !!

I bought the Leopard OS X for my Mac, but the CD drive doesn't seem to load it. It also fails to read (no error messages) certain DVDs -- but not others. Is it my drive? Is there anything I can do?

does adding 1-2 gb on a flash drive to your usb port on computer and running Speedboost a windows program really make Microsoft Vista run faster cause vista takes up so much memory on your hard drive.

The document is password protected so I am unable to open it and do file save as. I have used many things like password studio pro etc but most I have tried say that the document is encrypted with microsoft enhanced cryptographic provider. Im not sure what that is or if it comes standard with Windows XP. Can anyone help? Or advise which is a good site to go to remove passwords or replace them? Many thanks

My Dell Inspiron B120 has been struggling lately in a lot of ways. However, starting up has been especially bad. Lately, the compute takes 10-15 minutes with the black screen and Windows logo (sorry for my non-use of computer jargon) while trying to load.
