it depends on the format ur music is in. WMA music is smaller than MP3 music. MP3 format is a better quality format though. I'd say 500 mp3 songs.

This is all estimation:
mp3 is the most common file type for music right now. So, a standard song is 4 minutes at a sample rate of 128kbps which should get you something around 4mb a file. acording to that you should get an estimated 250 songs per 1gig of memory.

about 50 songs thats it me in my son went to walgreens juat last week in bought a coby mp3 player in it said on the package 250 songs way it is not true we only got 50 1 gb is not very big at all in they told us that we needed to buy a 5 gb to put in the computer it is a memory card in what it does is it will allow you to fit all 250 songs on themp3 player so now that we did this we have no problem with it any more in i hope this helped you out later

Ok this is a tricky question. An mp3 song takes up an average of 4-5 Mb. ASsuming all your songs are 5Mb, you acn probably hold up to 200+ songs.
Btw 1000Mb=1Gb

and info on the person above is technically rite many manufactures claim a 1gb but reading the small print its act only 1000 mb (they r sneaky)
