I've two identical PC, with the same softwares installed.

I've downloaded some "AVI" files from www.veoh.com and be able to watch all the files using WinAmp, Windows Media Player, DivX Player, etc... without any problems on the PC which I downloaded the file.

However, when I move the "AVI" files to another machine (same specifications with the same softwares, codecs, etc ~ exactly the same), none of the players cannot play some of the "AVI" files?

I've noticed that before copying the "AVI" files, I'm able to view the information on the "summary" tab for AVI files (properties), however, after copying the file to USB drive which is still hooked up at the USB port at the same PC (or eventhough after copying to another PC), I won't be able to see the information. When choosing the "advanced" view, it displays "Summary properties are unavailable for the selected source(s)." All these files cannot be played.

Are there some hidden info with this file? Anyone have any ideas?????

Okay, just one more question. thanks for your input on the others.

I have two files, one called password.php, the other called form.html. When I run password.php seperate on its own, it seems to run fine. However, when I get to it through the html form, and send the contents of the form to it, instead of compiling, all it does is show me the source code on my browser. Do you have any idea what I am doing wrong?

Again, if clarification is need, please say so!

While I was playing The Sims 2, my computer froze and restarted. This has happened many times and at first I thought it was because of the Windows update. Then I received this error:
SYMPTOMS
You may receive one of the following Stop error messages:
STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER

CAUSE
This issue might occur if the display driver is caught in an infinite loop while it waits for the video hardware to become idle. This issue typically indicates a problem with the video hardware or that the display driver cannot program the hardware correctly.

Does this mean I need a new graphics card? If so, what is a good one that I can buy for not a lot of money? Btw.. I currently have nvidia GeForce 6100

i just recently installed antivirus and antispyware on my computer but the package also included a firewall for free for purchasing the other systems. i talked to a friend who said i should delete the firewall as it will only prevent me from looking at alot of websites. i know the antivirus and antispyware work great as it scanned my computer and removed a bunch of trojans and spyware. but i really dont know exactly what a firewall is. i thought it was a way of protecting my computer from incoming viruses. but my friend said it will only prevent me from getting on websites i might want to look up. i didnt really want it but they included it free. its from the company called webroot if that makes any difference. should i delete it or just leave it?

Note: I'm not trying to forge any documents. The person sent me a hand-signed copy of their letter, then later sent a better copy with some mistakes corrected. I just need to move the signature. I have a scanner, pdf995, Paint, Adobe, all of that, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I have tried a bunch of things, but they are all problematic. For example, just printing it and taping it on is obviously fake with horrible lines. Copying it from Acrobat and pasting it in in Paint makes the page a very strange size. And so on.

If there is an easy way to do this I would LOVE to hear about it. Thanks!

yes, i need a new one. I have a dead pixel. i've tried all the ways to fix it myself. i tried screen flashing videos, rubbing the screen and all that. I already know how to take off the Glass Plate, i use a toilet plunger (don't worry, it's clean). I was planning on going to the apple store (again. i already went there once, and they didn't want to exchange it for me) and i'll ask them to simply swap out the screen with one of the 'flawless' ones they have on display. it doesn't void the warranty, and if i know what I'm doing they should let me do it.

I have a Belkin Wireless G Router already, and related USB adapters for laptop and other PC's, but want to know, would using a USB Adapter Dongle for Bluetooth be easier or even better? Do you just need one of these "dongles" for each PC you want to communicate with? (No hub oe router needed right?)

I understand the fundamentals of Bluetooth and it's class rating for distance served (class 1 is 300 feet or so, the max limit), all I need to know is if all I need are two dongles for two PC's to share files as opposed to a router or hub AND the dongles.

Thanks for any help! :)
