why is this strange URL cintinually obtructing the function of my computer under the error Code 5 ?
Its such a nuisance destroying all my job after paying you a monthly fee of 11.95/ a month.
This is therefore very important and should be attended to.

I paid a significant sum to have a website developed. It contains a custom built application that is written in ruby on rails, and has other systems plugged in as well. The site is now live and works well most of the time, however I am now experiencing bugs and other issues that require immediate attention to remedy, as the site is in production and the issues are affecting users.

It seems that now that the site is live, my requests for support from the developers has been reduced dramatically. We had a big issue on Saturday that affects all the users, and I can't get a solid response time yet from them about when the issue will be fixed. They are paid (well) by the hour but I suspect other, perhaps more lucrative projects are taking their attn.

As it's such a custom job, I am worried that if I break away I will not be able to find a group to do the work well and understand what the original coders wrote. But my users (and my site's reputation) are suffering. What do I do?

I have Windows XP.

I went to my control panel
Security

And i noticed my firewall was diabled.

I've been having some problems lately. I had winantispyware downloaded onto my computer somehow .. and it took me days to get it off.

I'm pretty sure i disabled my firewall because i couldn't do something online with it enabled.

My firewall being disabled, could this have anything to do with winantivirus being downloaded onto my computer without me knowing?

Should i keep it enabled? What does it do?

The operating system(windows xp home edition) is corrupt. Ive tried repairing it with no luck. However i know that the memory is still there. I could fix the computer but i would loose all memory. Is there a way to back it up so that when i erase the memory and fix the pc i can just load my memory from burned recordable cds?

Also the bios works, does that mean my memory is still there?

I just got this camera and it has always worked fine, but all of a sudden when i plug it into my computer, for some reason my computer dosnt reconize it? Hi guys,

Any of u guys out there using free downloaded AVG Anti Virus software?

Have any of u been having problems when first signing in then u get a message saying AVG has stopped working. I go into AVG control centre and the arrow thats usually green is yellowey orange colour, but a message tells u to click on text and then it says AVG is now working and arrow changed back to green.

This started playing up yesterday, weird thing is, 2 or so days b4, my spybot got virtually same message.

Oh another thing u can help me on, I just remembered as I looked at wat I wrote here and saw all my errors. Sometimes when i try and move cursor back to correct spelling errors, when I retype correct letter, ther letter next dissapears, so does the next as I go on.

I would like to repeat an element, a flash element, both horizontally and vertically, beginning and ending at limits specified by me. It seems like the only way to repeat an element is to make it the background, which is only feasible for images, not flash, as far as I know. Does anyone know how to do this?

OK. this is the final question i have (hopefully). this is my problem.

What im trying to do is
1) take all the full pathnames of directories and print them to a text file. I've already got an answer on how to do this...

2) i need to loop through them one at a time and print single rows to another text file. it prints row one, then runs another of my shell scripts. when the shellscript is done, i need to do the same while printing row two to the text file...

i dont know how to do step two. I thought origionally awk would be the answer, but awk deals with columns, not rows.

Any insight? thanks.
