Unfortunately we would need to know a little more information to know which exact model you have. Two of the Pentium 4 - 3.0 GHz processors are 64 bit capable while one is not. Can you tell if you have the 2 MB L2 Cache or the 1 MB L2 Cache? If you have the 2 MB L2 Cache, you should have the 64 bit version, otherwise the 1 MB L2 Cache is the 32 bit version.

The lowest intel pentium 4 that runs on 64 bit has hyperthreading and all of that stuff and runs at 3.00 GHZ. Since yours is running at 3.00 GHZ it could be either 32 bit o 64 bit. Look at your cache because if you have a L1 cache then there is no way you are running at 64 bit.

some p4 3ghz are 32bit and 64bit. The best way to determine it is to download cpuid link here http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php then check the list of Pentium 4 types at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Pentium_4_microprocessors to determine your P4 model if it's 32 or 64bit
