I just got this camera and it has always worked fine, but all of a sudden when i plug it into my computer, for some reason my computer dosnt reconize it? It says like an error has occured during instalation, so ive tried plugging it into a different usb port, ive tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it, restarting my computer, and nothing works, it worked just fine a week ago and all of a sudden out of no where it dosnt..

Try testing it with this driver:

If still it does not work, it is not stupid. It is dead.

Maybe it does not like being called stupid.

Make sure you remove the entry in the device manager (start/control panel/system, click the hardware tab, click Device Manger). Look for any entries with an X that might be the camera. Right click on them and uninstall. Do this with the camera NOT plugged in. Uninstall any software and drivers separately. Reboot and plug the camera back in. That has a strong chance of fixing things.

And stop calling your camera names or it will erase your pictures.

Remove all the drivers from your computer and also make sure it is totally removed to give it a clean install. If that doesn't work, you can test your camera on another computer to make sure it isn't your computers problem. If it does work on another computer, I suggest you fix your computer and not your camera.
