Hi, I just purchased a Linksys Instant Wirless Network PC Card, model WPC11. It is one that I slide in to my Dell Latitude laptop C600 that is running XP. The device is working properly.

BUT! In "Network Connections," the computer thinks that it is a LAN connection. I don't know how to tell it that it's a wireless connection. Therefore, I cannot select "View Available Wireless Connections" etc or anything like that. How do I fix this?

Someone told me something about disabling the Wireless Zero service. Still doesn't work, so I re-enabled the service. Also, the wirless card is sort of old: the latest driver on the linksys website is from 2001. But it was a good price and I would like to work.

Any advice or suggestions? I'm sure this problem has happened to someone before maybe.

I wrote this code, the get function works as it echos the value of it on the screen. But after this i want the page to header to another page (page.php). I cant fiqure out why it doesnt send the user to page.php, ive used headers before which worked.
This is the error it says: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/sites/fatfrogip.com/public_html/yellow.php:6) in /home/sites/fatfrogip.com/public_html/yellow.php on line 29

I am having trouble installing a program (System Mechanics 6 Proffessional) on my XP. The installation does not start when I insert the CD in; the other option given was to select: START, RUN,,type d:/setup.exe..(where d is the letter of my CD-ROM..My problem is that I don't know my CD-ROM. I have a router that has both local IP 192.168.2.1 and external IP (unknown) to me. Cos I lost the paper that came with my fractional T1 line when I installed it. I want to know the external IP address on the router. How do I get this?

I am in the middle of a PayPal dispute over downloadable software that installed Windows XP. Remember last week I asked about Disk Warrior and retrieving data that's lost. I went to Apple today. They weren't able to retrieve it. Since my Appleworks is old, they think there's a glitch in the system that caused it to happen, which shouldn't have happened. So I have to use another WP software and saved everything on my EDD in the meantime. I have to rewrite what's lost starting tomorrow. What do you recommend for a WP software for Mac? Text Edit which I have and free? Iworks that cost $80? Microsoft Office which cost $180? Any recommendations for this or any other WP software programs for Macintosh.
