i donot understand the books, cause there are dozens of names, - and they donot help much

Depending on what you want to learn, there are many options. I realize you stated that you don't understan the books, but there is a very easy to follow book (contains lots and lots of pictures) that gives the overview of computers. It's called "Computers Simplified" by Ruth Maran. I made my father read the book and he now understands more.

say you want to learn how to use Microsoft Word,.
go to yahoo.com and search for "how to _______ in Microsoft Word".
