How can I convert a video from Quick Time Player to Windows Media Player? Ive tried sending it to a zipped file and extracting it that way to no avail! I need to get it onto Windows Media Player so I can edit a video with Movie Maker and movie maker only allowing me to edit Windows Media files.

Currently I pay £18 to BT - but this does not work - all avenues explored and I think I need a new wireless router.

Thought I would go with Orange free broadband, but BT tell me that because of my telephone exchange I would not be eligable for this and that Orange are trying to con me and will charge me once its set up.

Orange tell me that BT are lying. To add to this there have been complications in the set up with orange and so I am still without any service after some 3 months.

What should I do ? I don't know who to trust and am being blinded by science

So say, for instance I google image search for the word "castle", and I get back from the image search various castle images from numerous website. I DON'T click any of the images, but stay on Google's image result page. Am I at any risk of a virus from any of these individual pages (assuming there was an infected page out there), or have I not actually visited any of these pages? (in other words, does google image searched cache these images somehow?)

I't sortof a tricky question to explain... I hope I said this right.

I want to access internet through LAN at office and through my mobile when on the move. I have set up mob tobe used as a modem and there is no problem when I use this connection,but at office the IE opens up the connection dailouge box showing only mob connection. This happens erratically. Sometimes i just close the dialougue box and i am connected through LAN, at other times the IE just hangs. I am using IE 7(Beta). Could you help?

If i right click on a page i had the option of translating a page if necessary, i have just right clicked on a page and the translator is no longer there. Wheres it gone ?, how do i get it back. Not that i use it very often, although it does come in handy at times, and i do find it niggling when things dissapear for no reason that i know of.

I am getting a virus in my aapt email daily. I use AVG and update it reguarly and also scan with spybot search and destroy.
I never open these suspect emails. My provider tells me just to delete these emails. What else can I do? I am using windows XP.
