When I press Control/Alt/Delete to bring up the Windows Task Manager, and then select Applications, why do I see dozens of programs running? Is this the reason my computer is running slowly even though it has tons of memory remaining? How do I know what Applications I can delete from this - and how would I delete them. 10 points for the best answer. Thank you!

I'm trying to find a means of burning to CD some programs I've recorded via my MicroSoft Media Center. Please let me know the correct method if available.

My brother and his family live in a very rural area and can't access cable or satellite programming, and I'd like to be able to send him some recorded broadcast programming like NASCAR and a few TV Series.

I have a Microsoft Mail postoffice that we're still using. Today I wanted to just take two email addresses out, and it said I didn't have enough disk space, and the drive on which this mail postoffice is located has 2.67GB free, AND, I can add with out a problem.

The card is too long for the slot. It is a PCI Express card, i think my motherboard only has an AGP slot.
My old radeon 9200 fits and works.
This new radeon X1600 Pro Super can't fit - is there a way to fix this without having to buy a new motherboard??

Every so often I hear the USB disconnect noise followed by the USB REconnection noise as if something has been turned off and on again very quickly. Nothing HAS been turned on and/or off and all my power-save options for my USB hubs are turned off.

How can I stop this? Am I being paranoid to think this may be some kind of security risk?

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2. Thanks for looking and/or helping.

Since I'm a real Beginner at building a website, I thought that YSB (Yahoo SiteBuilder) was as easy as they claim to be, but it's not.
