GO TO START, RUN , TYPE MSCONFIG....a window will open and near the top, look at tabs. dont mess with anything but the one on far right which is startup. click that tab. first , go thru list in far left column..if you recognize the program...and your computer can run without it.. ie, antivirus, quiken, msngr, yahoo. that sort of stuff, remove the checkmark from the box. when u are done, go to middle column and expand it if possible as there will be a long path to read... again you are looking to see if you can tell which program the item is coming from....and then do the same.
I dont recommend disabling your antivirus or microsoft beta ware if you have it. stay protected even if it slows you down.
BY THE WAY... YOU CAN PROBABLY DO THIS IN AN EASIER WAY.. FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS AND ONCE YOU OPEN START TAB, LOOK TO BOTTOM, AND SELECT, DISABLE ALL... YOU WILL BE PROMPTED TO RESTART, THEN WHEN COMPUTER COMES BACK UP, THE NECCESSARY ITEMS WILL REPOPULATE ON THIER OWN... i just enjoy doing it the learning way :) Jen

If you bring up the task manager and you have dozens of applications running and you don't see dozens of applications on your taskbar, it's probably bad and you need to run some spyware and antivirus.
If you're clicking on the processes tab in task manager, then it's a different story, since the processor is constantly working, and your processes list should be pretty full. You can take it a step further and click on the performace tab and see how much of a strain on your PC having all the stuff open is.

Its process in the system dont try to delete them because some programs need other programs to run. The reason for running slow your system may be your system is infected with virus.run virus program if you have installed any one they will take care of the virus and definitely your system runs fast dont download any thing from untrusted sites. What do you do with system you watch any movies and music then you will be targeted by the virus and other problem creating softwares.

DO now not pay attention to the others. Those are ordinary. The methods in manage panel akin to home windows defender, home windows firewall, protection middle, etc are managed by way of those. Microsoft did it this fashion in case one in every of them fails, the others is not going to. If they had been all managed by way of one million svchost.exe then your method could crash. I wish this has defined it for you. I have thirteen in mine however I have my computer on a selective begin-up and it's been tweaked
