How can I convert a video from Quick Time Player to Windows Media Player? Ive tried sending it to a zipped file and extracting it that way to no avail! I need to get it onto Windows Media Player so I can edit a video with Movie Maker and movie maker only allowing me to edit Windows Media files.

Use a program called Windows Media Encoder :)

Use Super - it should encode mov to the format you require -it's free

You can do it in Movie maker on win XP or install MPEG4 software to do that . you can download it from www.download.com
