i'm on tiscali at the moment 2.3 mb and the last couple of weeks it was playing me and still is!the connection went from bad to worse!and i want to switch my broadband to another better one if you have any suggestion?thank you!

I have some Shortcuts to some folders like My Music etc on my desktop and I want to get them off my dest top but I DO NOT want delete the folder or the files in the folder.

My desk top is just getting cluttered with Short cuts.

Right now when I right click on the folder on my desk top and tell it to delete is wants to delete the folders and files with in the folders.

Uggghhh... I have Comcast cable internet service and two desk top computers in my home. I was told by comcast to by a wireless router in order to get internet service on the upstairs computer. I bought a Linksys. I have it fully hooked up to the Modem cable ethernet box thingy that comcast gave me. My down stairs computer works just fine online.
However, on the upstairs computer I have tried everything. It can't read a signal? WTF?
Am I doing something wrong.......??? UUUUggghhh

My hard drive and new install of windows XP is about 5-6 months old..System has worked fine and trouble free. Now this morning Windows does not load. It just keeps trying to boot(or load) and then starts the process over all by it self. It also will not boot in safe mode. I still have the XP disk.
Is this a virus or a problem in the boot record. Can u boot from the disk?? I really hate to lose the stuff on the hard drive and wipe it clean and then re-install.. How about installing a small 2nd hard drive and loading XP on that. Then use my current drive as storage???

Please WIFE MAD!! Can anyone help??

I've just downloaded Limewire and when I downloaded it before I rememberyou have to do something in oder to transfer the files to your media player but I can't remember what to do because at the moment I've downloaded songs but I can't access them!

You know when you go to Start menu in MS Windows and click on Search.Window pops up with different search criteria.For example if I want to search any file name starting with T, as soon as I type letter "T", system shows all the past searches starting with letter "T"...How can we stop that?

i guess it was my fault for downloading Limewire (and then later after uninstalling Limewire, iMesh)... but i ain't got money to be spending $20+/- on CDs when i only want certain songs. Anyway, i guess i got some bad songs in my computer now and it put all these damn pop-ups in it... AND it runs a little slower, too. I already have Ad-Aware on here and every time before or after i turn the computer on or off, i gotta Ad-Aware it. That kinda helps but the pop-ups are ****** irritating. How do I fix this damn problem? What do i gotta do or get to make my downloading experience better? HA!

I recently recived a trojon virus. Windows informed me to update my spyware software. I have sorted the problem now. My pc is now " clean ". One problem is still here though. I have a blue screen where my desktop bacground us to be. I have tried to replace my desktop background through the control panel and display icons. When i go on to the background tab nothing works on this tab. I cannot select any backgrounds?? How can I this back to normal
