When i go to a japanese website or recieve an e-mail written in japanese it looks like:

I dont know, but when i turn on my computer, i cannot see files,folders. Ex: when i open C drive, it's empty in explorer!!
By right click-->Properties., i can see used disk space.and in status line i can see how many file and folder in C drive.
can you help me.thanks

I usually play Yahoo Zuma the on-line version everyday; today I deleted objects under internet options and am unable to download any Yahoo games. I performed a system restore to an earlier point and am still unable to play. Any suggestions, I just get the download failed message, try again. I even cleared my temp. internet files.

after 3 months of using the vista beta(buid 5600) i would be intrested in any other users opinion on the beta
i have found it needs at least a gb of ram to run smoothly allthough it states 512mb,i found it too sluggish with that amount of ram
another sticky point is the graphics,as you need a card with pixel and shader model 2.0 so i had to buy a quick upgrade so i went for a nvidia ge-force 6200 which cost me £45
i have started a group on yahoo groups for answers and questions so i thought i would plug it while i ask this question
anyway,i would love to hear other peoples opinion on vista so i look forward to hearing them

I recently had a new slave drive installed on my computer but have decided to make the new slave drive the master and the current master the slave. I found these directions online but need a little more detail. Hook up the new HD as the slave. Use the installation disk that came with it and transfer/copy the entire drive (old) to the new HD. Disconnect the HD's and install the new HD as the master. Now what I need to know is exactly how do I transfer the old HD contents to the new one? The new one is set as the slave right now. And I want to hook the old one up as the slave so should I erase its contents at a certain time or just leave them on there? I have the disk for the new one only. I'm running Win 2000 Pro. Any more details or advice is greatly appreciated.

The ban of online gaming is coming about due to Sen. Bill Frist.
He tacked the ban onto the defense bill-----so a vote FOR online gaming is a vote AGAINST national defense.
Is this terribly unfair or am I wrong?
Should politicians be allowed to do this?

yeah so, i was thinking something along the line of 3.0+ ghz clock, 2-4+gb ram, 120+gb harddrive. 512+ graphics card ???

well, my question is that i am in the market for a high performace gaming desktop, willing to spend up to 2000 pounds (about $3800), im looking at the dell xps and the alienware area-51.
they both have about the same specs (what mentioned above), but both seems to have slow proccesing speeds, about 2.8ghz duo. (not sure about FSB).

does any1 have any advise for me about what pcs are best for gaming, and the minimum amount of ram/proccesing speed etc neccesary.

My monitor at work on Dell PC blacks out every few seconds. Can only come back on if shutting off and back on. Moving mouse does not help. Had electrical outlets checked...changed systems and monitors 3 times...the problem continues. Sometimes the screen blacks out about every 15 seconds. IRM and anyone elese that's looked at it is stumpted...Suggestions please!!!!!
