Do i have to keep my pc on if i have a schedule a task like disk clean up?

Yes, keep it on during the scheduled time. You can schedule it to shut down after it's done with most tasks.

The PC only needs to be on during the scheduled time (maybe a few minutes before so the Task Scheduler can kick off the event.)

I think if you turn it off the task schedule starts when you start up your computer.

yes if you turn off the pc chedule a task like disk clean up ,will stop its like getting in a car putting your foot down on the gas if you jump out the car comes to a stop and maybe a crash
