I've just downloaded Limewire and when I downloaded it before I rememberyou have to do something in oder to transfer the files to your media player but I can't remember what to do because at the moment I've downloaded songs but I can't access them!
Can anyone help?

Um, downloading songs on limewire is illegal. But, when you download a song it goes into a shared file. Search your computer for the file named "shared". You will find your songs in there. After finding, it is a simple matter of cutting and pasting the songs to wherever you want them to be. If I were you, I would clear out my "shared" folder. I read that this is how the people got busted the last time with KaAza and other software.

What I normally do is, once I have finished downloading from Limewire I would go into the media player, click on "File" then "add to library" by "searching computer" then click "search" (assuming you have already told it to check your share folder for limewire. This sounds quite long-winded but it is quite straight forward and simple.

If you've downloaded songs to limewires shared folder, then all you have to do is start media player and select add folder to library, then select your shared folder which should b found by clicking the following >start>my computer>c:>my documents>your name>shared. Hope this helps

There should be options where you can choose what folder you are downloading the files to. Look at the menu bar where you see file, edit ,etc. There should be a tools or some kind of option. play around with it and let me know what you find out.

Go to where you defaulted the download folder because when you finsh downloading a song it puts it there. I f you know where the folder is go into Wmedia player-under file and add to playlist.

My husband said that when you download your song that there should be buttons on your limewire that says launch, preview, and explore. Click on "Launch" and it will automatically bring your song up on the player. ....Lime wire is illegal??? oops! lol!

Go back into limeware and launch songs and save to your media player.
Ok...I just looked it up...Back into Limeware library, select song and press enqueue and on down below Click on save as. and there you have it.

i just click on explore in your libary and then drag them in2 a folder
