Which resident shield should I use for preventing malware installation? My 30 days trial Ewido has run out and so the resident shield is disabled. I tried Spyware terminator, but it seems bossy and acts more like a firewall. I don't want to be asked for permission everytime I open something new. I also tried Tea Timer, but it did not stop installation of a malware(MyWebSearch) which I downloaded knowingly. I have heard that spyware Blaster's resident shield is really nice. But I want a confirmation that it is not bossy like Spyware Terminator. Also, I would prefer a shield which works more independently and prevents malware download in the background, like Ewido.

I have AVG resident shield for virus and ZoneAlarm, so please don't go on giving advice on that.

I don't see ****. So, no advice to stop seeing those, again.

and my subscription ran out so I renewed it but I think it was too late. I cant get any viruses to come up during a scan but I keep getting security alerts telling me to download more spyware. I think it's in my files hiding..

when i pop a disc into the drive and it closes i try to run something but a message pops up saying "Please insert a disc" when i already have. what do i do to fix it? could i have accedentaly eraseed the file? the computer is a Dell Demension E310. i realy need to get it fixed soon. thanks.

I recently got rid of a computer virus and now the color schemes are messed up and even though I've checked my settings many many times... it seems to be stuck on color I did not choose and is all grainy and very hard to see/read. I've tried resetting it many many times......Ideas?

My pc has been sending invitation to friends from my address book inviting them to join smutvibes.com without me doing it.
