If both your computers are interlinked either throught a hub /switch or a plain cross cable connection to both ethernet cards then it is possible to chat with the other computer.

why dont you try the natural oldfashion way!!!???

just speak to him/her face to face.. you will have a free webcam "eye contact" too..

nothing is better than hunam-touch...
