check and make sure send an email to yourself,make sure your ports are correct and your server is listed correctly first things first are you registered with yahoo for messenger service?

I am going to take a guess and say you have the 8.0 version of yahoo messenger, lol i to have problems with messenger like i cant play certian things or talk on voice, when my friend said stay with the old version she was right lol

It's probably either that or you might have checked nect to the part that said view as offline.
