i think my intel penium 4 motherboard has died and i just want to replace it instead of buying a new computer. there is a great deal for a pentium core duo motherboard at frye's; how can i tell if it will fit in the pc case? would all the screw holes line up? thanks for any helps

I have been on Myspace since i was 14 not once have i felt i was being tracked by a pedifile. People always blame Myspace for kids coming up missing, NO its who they meet on Myspace. Somebody you dont know can't be your friend unless you allow them to. Myspace is a network to meet people So meeting people off the internet is dumb regardless. All my friends on myspace are people I know that i haven't seen in a while. So parents and any bodyelse who have a problem answer this question

i am at the max 1 Gig of ram right now, but i want to be able to go up to 2 gigs. It is a gateway MX6027 with a celeron M 1.4 proccessor. does any one know what else i need to upgrade to be able to add more ram?

This very morning I intended to send a message to my aunt Gondwania, who settled in the Far West, when I noticed to my dismay that my long-beloved pigeon Anastasius had died. I resolved to ride my mule to the the nearest Post Office, 27 miles away from my Village, to make use of their Telephone Service. The office was renowned among our Fathers, who have been calling on it regularly every 12 years or the like. To my dismay, the building that used to host such Office had been sold to the company Internet Cafe, whose staff kindly guided me to the present Answers Service. I must confess that I have yet to get the feel for the machine standing in front of me. In fact, numerous animated protographs accumulate on this panel, preventing me from seeing the words that I am typing, and alluring me into selecting one of several less-then-modest females surrounded by the above-mentioned acronym (so it appears to me). I call on you, Answer Service, for advice on this arduous dilemma. Thank you.

I have a Dell Dimension with a Pentium 4 (2.4 GHz) with 512MB of RAM. My computer has never had any significant problems until recently. Suddenly, within the last couple days, my computer bogs down during startup. My desktop appears, but I can't open any programs or windows, or if I do, it takes FOREVER for them to open. My hard drive activity light is constantly on. I have Avast! anti-virus, Spy-bot and Ad-Aware, but the problem is, my computer won't let me open them to run a scan! Eventually, me computer will tell me I'm "critically low on virtual memory". I've tried to turn off any unnecessary applications to free up resources. I've even tried to boot up in Safe Mode, but no luck: when I try, my computer shows a bunch of scrolling lines of file paths or something, then just freezes. The most frustrating part is, my computer is so slow that I can barely get into msconfig or regedit to poke around. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? Thanks in advance!

for weeks I could not get in to my mailbox.yesterday it worked again , but to my surprice i saw that my password has been changed twice , and not through me !! also the whole inbox was empty as well as the outbox and binn !!! only the emails from that day were there ! also an email that gave me the message that my password was changed twice around midnight en early in the morning of september 26th !!! my account excist since may 2006 , but all my incomming and outgoing mail is gone !!! which is very worrying because it is al bussiness related and i need it for my work !!! can you expplain this to me please ?? and is it possible to get all my emails back that are gone ???

i am thinking about getting a computer with amd processor in it, but just curious what the equivalent is compared to intel, since i am more familiar with them. what would be comparable to the amd athlon 64 3500+ (the pentium 4, celeron, etc.?), and also for the amd sempron processor 3200+? thanks for any helpful info.
